Fat bassy synth, flashes of synth and electronic glitches start, joined by a regular, throbbing beat, more beats then layers of extra fat synth build the atmospheric tension. Tense, dark and foreboding, full of dark energy, imagine a tense action scene or a nail-biting TV moment.
Atmospheric electronic soundscape. Creaking, crackling electronics, sustained synth drones, reverb electronics and industrial sound effects. Dark, ambient and foreboding, subtle background music for a tense documentary.
Brash electronic metal instrumental. Harsh effects-laden guitar intro, drums enters with a gritty bass line. Bubbling bass, drums and choppy guitar section. Dark, heavy effected guitar returns with moody drums and bass. Bullet-like drums and laser guitar of the intro returns. Relentless rhythmic section like a round of gunfire before a drum outro. Dark, visceral, threatening and dirty. Like an electronic Pantera, would suit a hard-as-nails, moody, bruising TV scene or advert for a damaging, no-nonsense product that would wipe the floor with the competition.
Grungey rock ‘n’ roll instrumental track. Rage Against the machine-style guitar riff, steady drums, followed by a Nirvana-style more downbeat riff with more prominent bassline, ending on the original high-octane guitar section. Angry, powerful, loud and proud, classic 90s rock perfect for energetic TV interludes, adverts for flaming whopper burgers, or for a powerful film scene representing a challenging character in defiance of authority.
Dramatic orchestral track. A flighty melodic phrase on woodwind, mimicked by strings and punctuated by vigorous percussion, joined by countermelody on woodwind before fuller orchestral melody enters. Excited, suspenseful, tense and nervous. Reminiscent of the Animals of Farthing Wood theme, suitable for a dramatic, high stakes film/TV sequence or an advert for a disaster-averting product.
Powerful percussive thriller. Relentless cacophonous beats above a threatening descending electronic drone. Dark, atmospheric and tense, a breathless, terrifying race through dark back alleys, our character has chosen flight, but might have to fight…
Bombastic orchestral epic. Choppy orchestral strings undulating over soaring strings and military percussion. Brass blasts add depth and further sombre notes. Epic, determined and grave, a serious, sullen soundtrack leading to a decisive battle – think Avatar, man against nature but nature puts up an glorious fight.
Sombre acoustic guitar and piano track. Percussion, moody repetitive acoustic guitar and piano, dark sustained strings, tense choppy strings. The mood lightens, expanded acoustic guitar and pretty piano. Dark, sombre, quiet, worried a relaxed finish, would suit a tense TV/Film moment of uncertainty and fear before a slight hint of resolution.
Dark electronic thriller. Fat synths, punchy beats and samples, underwater synth line, beats intensify with a driving synth melody line and frenetic arpeggiated synths. Cold, motorik and brazen, like an aural skydive, would suit a macho action film, or an advert for a bombastic place or product.
Atmospheric strings track. Duelling raspy string effects, subtle ambient noise, subtle electronic drone imitating string overtones. Tense, suspended, unmoving, claustrophobia on a loop, would suit an uncertain situation that shows no sign of being resolved.
