Rock ‘n’ roll track. Spaced out electric guitar chords, rough and ready. Solid guitar riff with hefty bass and steady drums. Quiet guitar and keys break before busting back to the original groove. Determined, no nonsense, right on, a traditional down-home country rock stomper, like Guns n Roses lite, perfect for American-themed TV/Docs or rockin’ food adverts for all-American cookin’.
Happy piano build. Repeated piano note builds anticipation, joined by sweet piano chords in harmony. Sustained violin notes float on top, adding sincerity to the cute keys and light tambourine. Heartwarming, wholesome and safe, perfect for trusting family adverts, cute puppies advertising toilet roll, or an emotional reality TV moment.
Lyrical solo piano track. Ripples of gentle piano, repetitive descending motifs like rainfall. Grows in intensity, joined by deep, emotive strings. Returns to slowed-down solo piano. Lush, heady and nostalgic, suitable for pensive onscreen longing. Still yearning for lost love but soon the world opens up afresh in the cycle of life.
Gentle piano track with subtle orchestral strings. Repetitive piano motif builds, orchestral strings join, growing in intensity before a return to the lyrical solo piano. Warm, string swell rejoins, returns to solo piano. Lush, powerful and beautiful, would suit a pensive Film/TV/Doc scene encapsulating a sense of longing and nostalgia.

Imagine Beverly Hill’s Cop mixed with a bit of “It was acceptable in the 80s” and this is what you get. Unashamedly bold drums joined by rhythmic synth stabs and bass, then for me it really comes into it’s own around one minute in, when you realise that with the introduction of electric guitar that we are actually pretty funky up in here. Elements of fast cut establishing sequences, 80s montage scenes, dance scenes, retro stuff, and some sort of comedy scene where everyone is running around a big house without everyone knowing.
Pulsating electronic track. Fat bassy synth, flashes of synth and electronic glitches start, joined by a regular, throbbing beat, more beats then layers of extra fat synth build the atmospheric tension. Tense, dark and foreboding, full of dark energy, imagine a tense action scene or a nail-biting TV moment.
Atmospheric build with piano and orchestral strings. Sustained strings build anticipation, joined by a repeated piano phrase ringing out hopefully. Slow build to include prominent string swells and bubbling, dynamic electronics. Hopeful, inspiring and positive, like a more chilled Chariots of Fire, epic but without the climax. Would suit a decisive TV/Film moment or a slow-moving, heart-warming advert.
