Atmospheric slow burn with orchestral strings and electronics. A synth drone with electric guitar, fleeting electronics and a theremin-like synth line above a orchestral build bringing to mind a vast landscape. Subtle strummed guitar suggests the plains of old Western movies. Calm, relaxed, thoughtful and epic, suitable for an expansive film/tv/ad moment, a moment of calm but determined intensity.

By Your Side
Relaxed jazz track with country influences. Laid back saxophone melody over softly strummed acoustic guitar double bass and subtle drums. Strummed banjo and extra drums added, building the texture. Chilled, calm and content, an easy-going jazz melody to lull the listener into a country reverie. Perfect for a family-friendly Film/TV scene featuring a little girl and her best friend, the curious dog as they amble around on light-hearted adventures.
Bed track is a No Sax version.
Ambling
Relaxed reggae/jazz track. Mellow, plodding bass with a slow guitar skank to start. Laid back brass enters, piano solos around the same riff, followed by a strange meandering reverb-heavy sax solo. All then riff together to an unexpected electronic ending. Warm, relaxed, jazzy yet sparse, subtle reggae to suit a blissed-out advert or Film/TV scenes of lazing on a Caribbean island, or chilling in a hot and hazy inner city block party.
You Got the Sun
Laid back country rock track. Funky electric guitar riff with solid bass guitar, steady drums and bright piano chords. Slightly psychedelic, slightly brit-pop but mostly country pop/rock instrumental, Oasis’ long-lost country album. Upbeat and happy-go-lucky like a cheeky cowboy, would suit relaxed adverts for American-style foodstuffs or an easy, breezy TV/Realty TV scene.
Tango-esque!
An orchestral tango-style number on clarinet, piano and percussion. Piano provides chordal accompaniment to drums and clarinet, with some electronic effects and a drum kit adding a contemporary spin to the traditional tango style. Relaxed, jazzy and modern, but not trendy, this quirky track feels like a European take on tango, and a Woody Allen-style love letter to Europe.
The K
Upbeat track led by synth samples and hip hop drums. Shooting spacey synth sample with syncopated jazzy chords on top. Boom bap hip hop drums introduced, then a subtle melodic synth line. Interlude with drums and interlaced spacey bell-like synth samples. Ends on synth melody alone. Positive and relaxed, yet upbeat and energetic, this track would suit travel docs or film/tv montage sequences.
Hop Shop
A breezy instrumental using hip hop samples. Solo, hip hop-style drums introduce the track. Vinyl scratching and vocal samples join in. A breezy keyboard and bass guitar line enter with a laid back groove that lasts for the whole track. A recurring motif of acoustic guitar samples and a drum break midway break up the steady repeated keyboard chord progression. Cool, fresh, relaxed and a bit edgy, this track would be suitable for travel/music docs, tv or film evoking breezy inner city life, or 90s nostalgia trips.
Nothing Matters But The Joy
An upbeat, but relaxed, steady jazz jam on piano, guitar, double bass and drums. Jazz piano to start, joined by double bass and cymbal rattles. Electric guitar takes the melody with piano chord progressions underneath. Guitar solos, with drums and bass intensifying before dropping out, leaving the piano to take an intimate solo turn. All return to the original melody, keeping things sweet, with guitar gently improvising. Happy, hopeful, fun, safe and wholesome. The opening credits of a film set on the East Coast of the US, driving home over crunchy Autumn leaves, met by a happy dog at the door. Safe and warm in wholesome America. Or it could be New York in the 80s of goofy feelgood American comedy .Three Men and A Baby without the drama.
Easy Way
Country-jazz instrumental. Dynamic walking double bass, quickly strummed acoustic guitar, classic jazz drums, frenetic saxophone soloing. Horn is introduced, duelling brass solos. Fun, positive and warm, ramshackle jazz straight out of a 1920s speakeasy, would suit a retro Film/TV scene, a lush jazz-age garden party, or an advert for a laid-back but jazzy product.
Bed version features No Brass.
Wisdom Child
Relaxed and positive, with gentle indian instrumentation including tabla and sitar-like guitar. It doesn’t do much, just holds it’s space with a rich upright bass sound and the introduction of rhodes at 2:45, it would be almost lazy if it wasn’t for the tabla pushing things along with its crisp melodic insistence. The feeling I get with this track is like I’m drifting serenely down a river, and everything is totally ok with the world. Reassuring. Perfect for branded content with themes of travel.
