Atmospheric piano track. Gentle piano chords with reverb effects, subtle synth with warming, female vocal effect, synth string line, piano chords build and intensify. Meditative, quiet, searching and heavy with longing, would suit as emotional mood music for a mournful but hopeful TV/Film/Advert sequence.

Happy Feet (Suite)
Classic swinging brass-led jazz track. Piano, shuffling drums, syncopated strummed guitar intro. Brass enters with a fast, energetic melody sounding like When The Saints Go Marching In, or a classic big band standard. Upbeat, happy, positive and warm, harking back to the jazz-age, would suit a modern Film/TV scene set in New Orleans, contrasting old and new. Would also suit a fun and friendly advert for a family product.
Bed version omits the Brass melodies.
Desert Robes
Exotic dub track. Bubbling dub bass guitar lurches around like a ghost from Scooby Doo, wistful piano, surfy slide-style electric guitar, mysterious, exotic brass and reverb-laden electric guitar and drums all plod purposefully and carefully across the track. Saxophone solos smoothly, then duets, twangy electric guitar plays Tinariwen, desert rock-style, all in to finish. Thoughtful, exotic, mysterious and suspenseful, would suit a quiet Film/TV scene set in an intriguing, new place, our character immersed in a new and curious world.
Day Off School
Acoustic folk/country instrumental. Bluegrass acoustic guitars, jaunty fiddles, rollicking drums and hand claps, jangly mandolins and surly double bass. Upbeat, energetic and earnest, a jangly folk number to suit adverts or TV/Film/Doc scenes trying to keep it country.
In Response
A warm jazz-influenced piano instrumental. A simple call and answer piano introduces the main melodic motif. This theme is developed through the piece into fuller jazz chords and improvised jazzy melodic fills. Slight change in tone then returns to the original motif. Warm, comfortable, secure and wholesome, made for a film/tv soundtrack to an emotional reunion or a goodbye-for-now-, set in a east coast US town as the leaves turn shades of red and gold.
Me First
Dark electronic thriller. Fat synths, punchy beats and samples, underwater synth line, beats intensify with a driving synth melody line and frenetic arpeggiated synths. Cold, motorik and brazen, like an aural skydive, would suit a macho action film, or an advert for a bombastic place or product.
Unapologetic
Punchy urban electronic track. Dramatic 90s-inspired catchy synth strings, bouncy beats, unforgiving electric guitar and church music choral samples. Serious, forceful and full of conviction, a modern mash up of guitar and beats perfect for an youth advert or for a heightened moment in a contemporary TV show.
Summer Jam
Electric guitar track with R ‘n’ B beats. Summery guitar riff, shimmering percussion, fun cowbell, laid back trap beats, fuller drums, then piano outro. Positive, hopeful, young and cool, a retro teen-film vibe with an urban update, perfect for cool summer adverts or a modern coming-of-age road movie.
Lydia
Relaxed jazz/lounge instrumental. Easy breezy intro of soothing retro keys, plodding double bass and shuffling drums, Then woozy, effects-laden guitar, psychedelic keys and warm, lazy brass. Grows in volume and power to an enveloping brass section. Calm, chilled, expansive and hypnotising, a jazzy dart of tranquillising calm for TV/Film/adverts.
A Father’s Grip
Thoughtful acoustic guitar folk instrumental. Slow and pensive folky melodic acoustic guitar intro. A pause then a faster section, with finger-picking repetitive folk/blues guitar. A more meandering, explorative section follows into a more upbeat improv-style, rootsy country/folk section. Contemplative at first, then hopeful and positive, yet low-key. Bert Jansch with hints of boogie-woogie, a guitar journey to accompany reflective, traditional scenes on TV/Film/Adverts.
