A straight-up funk jam with guitar, bass, drums and saxophone. A synthesised guitar sound, walking bass and steady 4/4 drums enter with a classic funk guitar riff on top. Sax-like chord bursts, wah guitar and busier drums get us excited, then we’re back to the original groove again. A brief saxophone break, then the funk resumes. Positive, chilled-out, laid-back and cool. A 70s groove to strut to. Cruising through an American city in technicolour, with playful attitude.

A sweet acoustic guitar and glockenspiel-driven dreamy, melodic journey. Finger-picking guitar, piano trills and a warm, rich glockenspiel dance between slight tension and hopeful resolution. A smooth and steady funk groove. Hi-hat and broken guitar chords are joined by a walking bass, guitar melody and kick drums. Sax and bongos get the party started, before a busy bass line, funk guitar chords and more bursts of sax take things up a notch. Dramatic melodic stabs toward the end build anticipation for the return to funkytown. Laid-back, cool, chilled but fun and funky fresh. Imagine the opening credits of a 70s cop buddy show, as the unlikely pair cruise around NYC, or a pastiche of this genre. Also suitable for advertising products guaranteed to give you a good time.

Contemplative interlaced harp and piano. A repetitive harp intro is accompanied by sparse piano chords, interweaving, questioning and answering each other. Ever changing piano chords shift the mood, creating sombre moments as well as moments of hope and clarity. Sparse, delicate and emotional, torn but determined. Driving in a car through suburban America, Autumn leaves falling, crunching underfoot. Ringing out changes.

Harp and No harp versions are simplified melodies with an added synth drone.

Summery electronic synth track. Wonky pitch shifting synth intro, upbeat drums kick in, bright, breezy, summery synths and warm sustained synths, underpinned by 90s hip hop beats. Vocal sample to finish. Happy, hopeful and optimistic, perfect for a an advert/TV/Doc requiring summer vibes and a fuzzy retro sound.

Smooth lounge jazz number. Piano chords, double bass patter and soft drums begin, joined by wistful saxophone melody. Piano takes a dynamic solo accompanied by drums and more busy double bass. Back to emotional sax melody. Nostalgic, warm and fuzzy, yet cool and laid back, perfect for a romantic old-school TV/Film sequence, Casablanca-style star-crossed lovers staring sadly into their stylish cocktails, intoxicated by love.

Bed track has No Saxophone.

Jaunty country-folk acoustic guitar instrumental. Light-hearted acoustic guitar repeated phrases, melodic acoustic guitar, moments of tension and relief. Short break before a funky bass, marimba, keyboard and sax solo section. 70s wocka wocka electric guitar with polyphonic rhythms. Psychedelic keyboards continue the 70s vibe with jazz brass. Gentle, bubbling guitar and keys section, drums join and brass re-enters. Ends on a blast of brass. Fun, sophisticated and positive, would suit a documentary, film trailer or some other journey on film, effortlessly moving across borders, styles and genres.

Country-jazz instrumental. Dynamic walking double bass, quickly strummed acoustic guitar, classic jazz drums, frenetic saxophone soloing. Horn is introduced, duelling brass solos. Fun, positive and warm, ramshackle jazz straight out of a 1920s speakeasy, would suit a retro Film/TV scene, a lush jazz-age garden party, or an advert for a laid-back but jazzy product.
