Live instrumental acoustic guitar saga. Raw blues/folk acoustic guitar melody, repetitive melodic motifs. Lyrical mid-section to a more tense, frantic part, alternating between drama and calm moments. End section is like something out of a Western film, tense and sparse, with dramatic slide guitar, to a hopeful finger-picking final section. Sombre, dramatic and epic with moments of light, the nature of the live recording adding interesting imperfections. Different sections would suit various Film/TV/Documentary moments, would suit an American road trip or a nature documentary explore the American Wild West.

Epic percussive build. Pounding drum intro, more percussion added, building layers of rhythms and heightening the tension. Full beat established, drops to melodic drum break, before full pounding percussion resumes. Excited, driven and determined, a tribal feel, calling to mind Asian music traditions, to suit epic, ambitious film soundtracks and mounting tension on screen.

Feel-good piano, guitar and vocal track. Easy-going acoustic guitar and a groovy piano melody to start with jazzy finger snaps, tambourine and playful Hammond organ. Kids simple vocal scat enters, giving a Sesame Street vibe. Happy, content, bright and hopeful, a fun, laid-back ditty for quirky adverts with cute puppies, or as a kids TV theme tune.

Gentle hangdrum and percussion track. Sparse hangdrum, drone-like overtones joined by rhythmic drums and percussive shuffles reminiscent of Moondog. Calm, peaceful and chilled, perfect meditative background music for nature documentaries or introspective Film/TV scenes.

Drum ‘n’ bass-influenced hyper pop. Laser synths bust out the intro, with anticipatory synth chords and repeated melody on high pitched synth. Tune drops with DnB beats, arpeggiated synth, fat synth chords, samples and whoosh effects. Excited and happy with a hint of thoughtful nostalgia, young, romantic, emotional Skrillex-style pop to suit fashion adverts or cool, contemporary TV/Doc sequences.

Happy piano build with vocals. Cute piano, keys, glockenspiel and hand clap intro. Anticipation builds with extra keyboards and piano chords. Female vocal ‘ooohs’ add a calming, dreamy quality. Excited, positive, relaxed and peaceful. Suitable for an advert full of anticipation that leads to a successful and calm resolution. Feels like a job well done: a beautifully painted room, a well-risen cake or a good night’s sleep.

Tense, percussive electronic track. High-tension, high-pitched, high-speed cowbell beats over sparse pounding drums and fleeting percussive and electronic effects. A trance synth beat takes things down before piano chords introduce a hyperactive finale. Nerve-wracking, exciting and full of anticipation, a nail-biting percussive race with Balearic House vibes, suitable for a any TV/Film/Advert scene where the heat is on and the clock is ticking.

Bouncy electronic pop track. Fat summery synths, electronic beats and male vocal sample ‘Hey’s set the upbeat tone. Vinyl-scratching samples, more bouncy synths and hip hop beats create a fun but edgy summery vibe. Determined, cool and a bit flashy, a slight cheesy Calvin Harris synth feel, perfect for brash adverts or Hollyoaks-style TV interludes.

Next time round more vocals with harmonies and fuller plucked guitar.
