That’s for Eating With

Quirky instrumental. Dramatic opening, sustained keys and brass, sounds like the electronic rainbow blasts of Animal Collective. Gives way to a meandering jazz saxophone joined by a brass blast then an unexpected quirky percussive section with piano and a big build, all instruments in, like the finale of a stadium rock concert. Sparse breathy saxophone section before another epic blast of noise. Solo sax then all instruments in, strings, drums, percussion, vocals and brass with drum crashes and wallops before a peaceful end. Bombastic and epic with slow, thoughtful sections, a fun mix of styles and moods, would suit a silly Film/TV scene humorous advert for a bonkers product.

March for a One Armed Nutcracker

Comedy for toy instruments. Sounds like: A riot of toys dancing around the tree at Christmas.

Kentish Plover

Triplet-feel dramatic orchestral refrain, with soft voices and repeating phrases. This is hilarious and highly dramatic at the same time. Perfect for an episode of Bagpuss, if Bagpuss was trying to fly a biplane to the moon. Includes real violins, voices, kazoo, accordion, wooden percussion and a whole lot of interesting phrasing.

Flea Circus & Ice Cream Man

Flea Circus is a drunken comic waltz, with high cartoon singing and cracking whips. I’m including this as the entire website’s most ludicrously specific track. If someone uses this, it can only be for a scene with a circus of very small creatures singing drunkenly together. With whips.

Then (in Ice Cream Man) they all go off and get ice creams in opera mode. Of course.

Dance With a Ball of Emperor Rudolf II

Neo-classical patterns for acoustic instruments. Atonal and jazzy, feeling off kilter, drunk, confused but happy.

Chocks Away

Happy lighthearted and fun, a bouncy summery track with full band instrumentation following a verse chorus structure. Medium fast pace.

Dinky Pirate

Cute, fun ukulele track with humming, piano, bass and guitar accompaniment. Ukulele strummed intro joined by humming and other instruments, building a warm, comforting, wholesome sound. Short and snappy, perfect for kids TV, TV idents or for commercial adverts as a happy, innocent jingle.

Chuffed Sprinkle

Cute, cheerful acoustic guitar tracks with quirky whistle part. Gentle guitar with swooping, playful, dancing toy whistle parts. Fun, happy and simple, perfect for kids TV, for TV idents, or an innocent, childlike advert.

Hump Back Blues

Jaunty acoustic guitar track. Solo blues guitar in finger-picking style, breezy and cheerful. Hints of jazz and improv in the mid-section. Slower, more expressive section to finish. Nostalgic, thoughtful and pastoral, would suit fun, American style TV/Film scenes or a playful nature documentary tracking fun-loving animals.
