Searching and feel-good. Soft Folk melodic tones are joined by guitar, piano, angelic vocals and rhythm that reminds me of “Close to me” by The Cure, except this is pure, wholesome and moving. Definitely moving, you feel yourself either running or flying across landscapes. Fiercely positively driving, that’s the way to describe it I reckon. For ads and campaigns, with the message that we’re getting somewhere, it’s all going to be alright.

One Foot In The Groove
Funky, upbeat indie-guitar instrumental. Punchy drum intro, groovy 70s guitar riff, piano chords. Psychedelic Doors-style 70s Rhodes piano introduced, wailing brass. Back to just guitar and drums for a decisive ending. Fun, joyful and exciting. Inclusive rock ‘n’ roll that has the whole family strutting and swaggering on a feel-good advert or wholesome TV show about a quirky family of aliens living regular lives on planet Earth.
No Drums version available. Perfect theme music for a Hollyoaks-style teen family drama or comedy.
1 min and 30 secs ad length versions available.
Swings and Roundabouts
Quirky brass and percussion instrumental. Jazzy drum intro, catchy melody kicks in on woodwind, underpinned by rollicking drums and playful bass guitar. A short drum break then back to the full melody. Fun, joyful, silly and breezy, a short ad length ditty, would suit a light-hearted commercial featuring cute kids running around with cute dogs unravelling loads of toilet paper. Would also suit kids TV interludes.
Drums and Bass Only version available.

5 Silver Line (suite)
Running over the hills, through the forest, but like, as fast as the wind. In black and white, as part of a dramatic film sequence (or an advert for Jägermeister) – is my exploitative interpretation of this brilliantly thumping and atmospheric track. Tribal drums (in the folk sense?) perfectly synchronised with acoustic guitar keep you on your toes with off-kilter time signatures and dramatic flourishes. The vocal version adds a close but haunting feel pushing you like the wind… you can probably tell I like this track. Imagine Woodkid, if Woodkid was good.
Moonless Jungle
Secret clandestine fun, what are those guys up to, skulking around in the shadows? Repetitive spooky chimes are joined by strings and percussion, and eventually pizzicato strings. The arrangement is dynamic, jumping into action in places, and at other times sparse and anticipatory. Great for subversive sections of film with a bit of fun involved.
Kindling
Driving strings and piano track. Opening of plucked strings into a the catchy main melody on warm, earthy strings. Piano chords join to punctuate the melody. Light drums build anticipation with a piano counter-melody. Drums drop out for a violin and gently strummed guitar break. Thoughtful, measured piano chords before a return to the build up. Drums kick in and the melody is in full swing. Hand clap-style percussion adds interest at the next break, stay in as the tune builds once more to a triumphant end. Ambitious, hopeful, excited, perfect for a decisive, emotional moment on Film/TV, for epic sports coverage on TV, or for an air-punching, life-affirming advert.

Horizon Venture Theme
Varied and cascading piano and live string section swirl into a vortex of questions and answers, unifying in a positive crescendo around 1:00, then launching into a series of dynamic sections, before a serene unified ending. Sophisticated and masterfully arranged – I’d imagine Pina Bausch choreographing something to this.
Sapphire
Solo jazz piano. Romantic intro of blissful exotic jazz chords, full melody of chordal 4ths calls to mind Erik Satie or Japanese-inspired classical composition a lĂ Madame Butterfly. Delicate waltz section, playing around with the same Eastern-inspired chords. Hopeful, loving, content, would suit a romantic Film/TV scene where a smitten character floats on a wave of love. Would also suit a soothing, peaceful advert for a beautiful object or luxurious service.
Take A Stand
Country instrumental with slide guitar. Confident slide guitar accompanied by steady drums, bass and acoustic guitar to start. Honky tonk rhythm introduced on electric guitar, adds texture. Country-style violin solos over the groove. The slide re-enters accompanied by choppy violin. Upbeat, charming and fun, perfect retro, line-dancin’ country music for TV sequences and family adverts.
Season Creep
Atmospheric string and piano build. Ephemeral strings, echoing beat intro, gentle piano notes, strings drone building anticipation. Piano chords then opens up with sustained strings, drums, guitar and tambourine. A quiet section, the best remains then drops out, just piano and light strings to finish. Determined, ambitious, striving and positive, would suit an advert for a powerful, reliable car, or a success against the odds on TV/Film.
