A warm jazz-influenced piano instrumental. A simple call and answer piano introduces the main melodic motif. This theme is developed through the piece into fuller jazz chords and improvised jazzy melodic fills. Slight change in tone then returns to the original motif. Warm, comfortable, secure and wholesome, made for a film/tv soundtrack to an emotional reunion or a goodbye-for-now-, set in a east coast US town as the leaves turn shades of red and gold.
Thoughtful acoustic guitar folk instrumental. Slow and pensive folky melodic acoustic guitar intro. A pause then a faster section, with finger-picking repetitive folk/blues guitar. A more meandering, explorative section follows into a more upbeat improv-style, rootsy country/folk section. Contemplative at first, then hopeful and positive, yet low-key. Bert Jansch with hints of boogie-woogie, a guitar journey to accompany reflective, traditional scenes on TV/Film/Adverts.
Downbeat indie instrumental. Brooding bass guitar, subtle drums, repetitive riffs, floaty harp-like electric guitar with flighty synth cutting through. Slow, steady, thoughtful and moody, with a hint of hope, perfect background music for a pensive indie film moment, or for a tempting TV show trailer.
Pensive solo piano waltz. Waltz rhythm to begin with with a mournful, romantic accompanying melody. Opens into an oom pah pah section with tinkling high piano notes before returning to the original wistful theme. Sombre and melancholy yet idealistic and romantic, European in style and mood, calling to mind French clowns with sad faces, this would suit a scene in a moody European film or a thoughtful documentary.
Atmospheric piano track with mechanical sound effects. Clunking and whirring background sound effects, like the inner workings of a pocket watch and the tapping of typewriter keys, underpin slow piano chords and lyrical orchestral strings, growing in emotional intensity throughout with added strings and more melodic, powerful piano. Introspective, pensive and nostalgic, would suit a TV/Film sequence set in 19th century Paris, or a scene evoking the mechanical workings of a dark, lonely city.

A drum break, then piano solo with hyperactive ascending piano trills and a brass accompaniment. Ends on the thoughtful, wistful slow section once again. Pensive at first then jolly, brash and fun, would suit an advert with a distinct change in mood, from sophisticated European philosophising to a crazy Balkan farm party where the goat is driving a tractor into a barn full of chickens and trumpets.

Acoustic guitar, shuffling drums and bright, fleeting electronic samples build to a steady laid-back groove, alternating between acoustic sections and more electronics-heavy breaks. Passionate, hopeful and romantic, would suit an intense emotional scene or a pensive onscreen road trip.
Vocal version is even more romantic, with breathy male vocals and tender lyrics.
