Quick, violin-led jazz waltz. Violin leads with fast, intricate melody line soaring over a bed of laid-back jazz waltz rhythm on double bass, Spanish guitar and percussion. Spanish guitar takes a solo, over the soft, shuffle of acoustic guitar and percussion. Violin returns.Intriguing, mysterious and positive, European jazz for an advert traversing the cobbled streets of a French city in a new Renault, or for a bright-eyed, Woody Allen-style cinematic love letter to Europe.

Bed track has no violin or guitar solos, more prominent double bass.

Solo jazz piano. Short, jerky jazz piano chords. Dissonant piano clusters with hints of sweetness. Main theme repeated an octave higher. then more dissonance with sophisticated intermittent jazz piano soloing and low piano rumbles. Back to the uncomfortable clusters with their moments of sunshine. Serious in a playful way, erratic, difficult and jumpy, would suit a Woody Allen style Film/TV scene set among neurotic urban intellectuals or a stylish advert for a swish old-fashioned beverage.

Jazz piano solo. Relaxed jazz chords, sparse and measured. A tense repeated phrase leads to a pensive, sombre melody with hints of hope from high piano notes. A meandering improv-like melody deviates from the original chords progression before a quiet, content ending. Thoughtful, intense and reflective, a moody piano number perfect for a the heightened tension of a romantic love scene. Two star-crossed lovers on separate paths through rain soaked streets.
