Acoustic guitar and glockenspiel interlaced in a sweet, simple melody. Guitar and glockenspiel interplay, accompanied by dreamy sustained glockenspiel notes. Rolling cymbal and a change of melody hark a new, more urgent mood. An intimate guitar and drum break, then intertwined guitar and glockenspiel end the journey. Powerfully gentle, wistful and full of love, imagine an scene or advert suggesting childlike innocence, the birth of something special or a journey full of wonder.

Hill Billy
A guitar- and piano-led surf/blues stomper. A guitar riff with accompanying drums introduces a steady blues riff, soon joined by some Spongebob Squarepants-style slide guitar, bringing a surf vibe. The riff loops underneath bluesy piano trills. Piano and slide guitar come to the fore with a short electric guitar solo on top. All instruments confidently stride toward a traditional blues ending. Carefree, country, laid-back and cool. Distinctly American, evoking the wild west, both the saloons and the seaside. A laid-back track that brings unmistakeable stateside charm to adverts or on film.
Funker
A straight-up funk jam with guitar, bass, drums and saxophone. A synthesised guitar sound, walking bass and steady 4/4 drums enter with a classic funk guitar riff on top. Sax-like chord bursts, wah guitar and busier drums get us excited, then we’re back to the original groove again. A brief saxophone break, then the funk resumes. Positive, chilled-out, laid-back and cool. A 70s groove to strut to. Cruising through an American city in technicolour, with playful attitude.
Douze Petits Volcans
Gallic-inspired dreamy acoustic guitar and glockenspiel mingle in a melancholy dance. Finger-picking guitar and a warm, rich glockenspiel set the tone. Sparkling percussion, layered guitars and sustained glockenspiel notes add depth and intensity. Accordion expands the sonic palette further, as glockenspiel and guitar arpeggios dance around each other in hypnotic, swirling phrases of hopeful intensity, until a slightly melancholy end. Dreamy, magical and wistful with a hint of pensive longing. A track for periods of inner reflection and existential soul-searching. Tough decisions need to be made. Uncertainty and confusion are met with firm resolve. There is hope.
Crin d’argent
A sweet acoustic guitar and glockenspiel-driven dreamy, melodic journey. Finger-picking guitar, piano trills and a warm, rich glockenspiel dance between slight tension and hopeful resolution. Sustained synth notes add a hazy, dreamlike quality. Drums and tambourine add depth and energy before the calm returns. Tranquil and positive, this soothing track would suit adverts or campaigns for companies helping their customers through hard times. Emerging into sunshine, leaving sadness behind.
Sidewalk Strut (Instrumental)
A smooth and steady funk groove. Hi-hat and broken guitar chords are joined by a walking bass, guitar melody and kick drums. Sax and bongos get the party started, before a busy bass line, funk guitar chords and more bursts of sax take things up a notch. Dramatic melodic stabs toward the end build anticipation for the return to funkytown. Laid-back, cool, chilled but fun and funky fresh. Imagine the opening credits of a 70s cop buddy show, as the unlikely pair cruise around NYC, or a pastiche of this genre. Also suitable for advertising products guaranteed to give you a good time.
Always Angry
Pulsating electronic thriller. Electronic horn-like sustained blasts, clanging sound FX, harsh drum machine. Ascending orchestral strings signal intriguing danger. A thoughtful, desolate electric guitar solo before a return to the relentless electronic sirens. Strings build again and electric guitar returns to finish. Automatic, inhuman, threatening and brash, the sound of a prison watchtower and the rhythmic plodding of prisoners boots, would suit a dramatic thriller on TV or Film.
TRIM2
An upbeat rhythmic drum ‘n’ bass/grime influenced track. Mash-up of rhythms and urban styles with MC-style vocals, alien synth samples, finger snaps and hand-claps throughout the track. Cool, fresh, urban and a little bit dark. Would match with adverts for streetwear brands, refreshing drinks or a film/TV scene evoking inner city-life, kids in the playground jumping rope but dodgy dealings happening just around the corner.
The Issue Goes Deeper (Suite)
Lurching synth doppler effect creates an atmosphere of uneasy tension. One note rings out, klaxon-like, joined by threatening synth sounds panning across a bleak sonic plain. Hi-hat underpins the score with added suspense. Dark, desolate and unnerving, with a heavy, mysterious atmosphere that suggests an enemy at your shoulder. Perfect for a prison break, an abduction or an escape.
Light version has a longer, more exposed synth note. Simple version only features the doppler effect synth sounds, no central sustained note.
New England (Suite)
Contemplative interlaced harp and piano. A repetitive harp intro is accompanied by sparse piano chords, interweaving, questioning and answering each other. Ever changing piano chords shift the mood, creating sombre moments as well as moments of hope and clarity. Sparse, delicate and emotional, torn but determined. Driving in a car through suburban America, Autumn leaves falling, crunching underfoot. Ringing out changes.
Harp and No harp versions are simplified melodies with an added synth drone.
