Light synth banger. Punchy, sparse synth chords introduce a 90s synth line with glassy synths washes creating atmosphere. Brash synth chords over a variation on the melodic riff with a throbbing kick drum beat beneath. A new layer of high register synth line takes things up a notch, shuffling beats add a dance flavour. More variations on the melody, drums kick in again, then an abrupt stop. Positive, hopeful and determined, driving beats to suit a reality TV challenge or slightly cheesy advert for a modern product.

Cinematic orchestral track. Slow, sparse piano intro. Wistful orchestral strings join with sustained notes before a urgent string and percussion melody kicks in. Strings join on top, followed by triumphant brass, searching and adventurous. Lighter woodwind adds a playful elements, over stomping percussion and strings. Tentative and introspective before a definite drive and determination kicks in. Perfect for ambitious, impassioned, hopeful fantasy film/TV sequences, going to battle to protect the kingdom and defeat the evil invaders.

Positive, earnest woody and organic. Harmonising guitar arpeggios, piano, cello, and percussion evoke a feeling of hope, well-being and a positive outcome. Suits positive stories, scenes of triumph over adversity, and heartfelt family moments. Suite with various mixes.

Instrumental classical/jazz track. Strings in conversation, playing melodic cycles. Warm, resonant piano enter, joined by marimba flourishes and a deep, soothing strings melody. Jazz piano chords, and the melody repeated in various registers. Marimba solo over sustained strings and a meandering improv section in the last minute. Earthy, romantic and enveloping, a calming jazz number, reminiscent of sprawling Ethiopian jazz rooted by a strong melody, as well as the gentle, rich Gymnopédie melody. Suitable for a very laid back advert or a pastoral Film/TV sequence set under a beaming winter sun.

Melancholy piano and orchestral string track. Piano leads an off-kilter waltz, joined by orchestral strings that build throughout, soaring by the finish, and gentle marimba murmurings. Slow, solemn and sensual with hints of light and hope breaking through. Perfect for a desolate TV/Doc/Film scene, imagine a kite stuck in the upper branches of a tree, disintegrating in harsh winter winds, or a sad silent movie. Also suitable as woozy, tragic, lonesome background music to an advert.

Orchestral string-led instrumental with harp. Melodic harp solo, bright and hopeful, joined by orchestral strings playing lush, sustained notes and rich marimba. Harp takes on a jaunty rhythm under the sturdy strings. A marimba break, before a bubbling harp and percussion duel takes place under languid violin. Warm marimba like giant water droplets breaks out into an excited rhythm. A marimba break once more, before a return to the lazy string melody. Woozy, relaxed and hypnotic, like a Joanna Newsom instrumental evoking the natural world, would suit nature documentaries or thoughtful Film/TV scenes.

Thoughtful piano and orchestral strings. Sparse piano chords mingle with the ebbing and flowing of sustained emotional string parts. Growing on intensity toward a powerfully emotional finish. Romantic, reflective and gentle, like the quiet bits of Sigur RĂłs tracks, sparsely cinematic with dramatic moments, the perfect soundtrack to a caring advert or an inquisitive or redemptive TV/Documentary scene.

Uplifting piano and guitar rock instrumental. Gentle piano chord intro building anticipation. Washes of synth and heartfelt electric guitar notes build to a strummed acoustic guitar section. Builds to full-bodied, inspiring chorus lead by guitar. Emotional, subdued mid section builds back to hopeful chorus with added string parts. Excited, driven and positive, heartwarming soft rock, perfect for a wholesome advert or as optimistic background music for daytime TV.

Classic surf rock. Drum intro, followed by mysterious bass guitar, then wonky effects-laden surf guitar chords like the wavy sky at sunset.. Bass and drums underpin a plucked guitar section, joined by the vintage sound of Hammond organ and more distorted electric guitar chords. Wobbly surf guitar solo, then organ break over big chords. Another guitar solo to fade out. Cool, seductive and atmospheric, a retro nod to the music of Quentin Tarantino films. Pure Pulp Fiction, would suit an advert playing on cult film references, or involving smokin’ hot BBQ meats, or a TV homage to Twin Peaks-style dark Americana.
