Cool and breezy but with a determined edge, a bit like an instrumental Thievery Corporation, suitable for a TV/Film drama focused on a gang of youths living in an unequal world, or an advert for 90s throwback garms.
Sparse piano solo. Fragmented piano phrases, plaintive harmonies emerge from the piano counterpoint. Slow and widely spaced snatches of melody. Contemplative, strange and questioning, a curious piano piece, would work well in contrast to a calamitous drama onscreen, or an equally reflective and thoughtful TV/Film/Doc scene.
Electronic trip hop instrumental track. Water sounds, electronic lasers, organ-like drone snatches. Naive riff on cutesy synth turns is joined by trip hop beats, shuffling drums and synthesised string interludes. Fleeting sitar samples and scratchy electronics punctuate the beat. Electronic/drone break before the riff and frantic electronics, like vinyl-scratching, rejoin until the end. Cool, laid-back and urban, a throwback to the baggy trouser days of the 90s, with a hint of Morcheeba. Jittery acoustic track. Percussive intro with delay effects on acoustic guitar and synth effects. Building anticipation, repetitive electric guitar and dynamic percussion. Guitar starts to move to a darker place, creating a sombre mood. Guitar noodles over ann atmospheric drone and clattering percussion, the shifting chords altering the mood, ending on spacey sound effects. Dreamy, dynamic and strange, suitable for a tense TV scene, inner turmoil, a noisy internal monologue, a decision to be made.

Guitars duel and layer up, dark and brooding, an instrumental Interpol with slightly jazzy female vocals. African jazz and Spanish guitar influences. Solo jazz piano. Erratic, playful opening chords, a dramatic section exploring the range of the piano and deep, stomping chords before an East African-style jazz solo. Moves to GymnopĂ©die-like lyrical beauty before a dynamic minimalist section. Alternates fluidly between these varying styles, creating a multi-hued collage of moods. Surprising, playful, dramatic and sophisticated, would suit an old-style silent film or a confusing onscreen tug ‘o’ war of emotions.
