Queen of the Bees

Playful, percussive, pizzicato orchestral string track. Magical swooping strings and choppy, characterful violins duel over a swirling bed of orchestral hum with plucked violins and dynamic double bass adding further layers of texture. Quirky, pastoral and full of giddy anticipation, perfect for a nature programme on the fleeting buzzing of insect life, or equally suitable for a Christmas segment building seasonal excitement.

Dreamy synth track. Muted 80s synths, soft and washed out, over more synths. Builds with added vocal-like synths playing with Twin Peaks-esque acid sweetness. Melodic, sentimental and cheesy, perfect for a pastiche of dramatic daytime TV or for a emotional Christmas advert.

’40s Swoon

Snippet of dreamy 1940s big band music. Lush orchestral strings, tinkling piano, shuffling drums and a warm, vocal chorus swell effect. Warm, retro and uplifting, jazzy, old-fashioned music for swaying gently to, at the holidays, while dressed to the nines, in 1940s America.

Uplifting orchestral track. Warm orchestral strings and sparkling percussion with added harp, drums and choral vocals. A merry dance with a festive feel, somehow Christmassy although imbued with golden sunshine. Delicate, bright and brimming with hope, would suit an advert for an exciting, magical event or a warm and hopeful TV/Film moment.

The Sounding Joy

An upbeat acoustic version of ‘Joy to the World’. Starts with layered vocal ‘ooohs’ accompanied by ukelele, drums, bass guitar and hand claps. This reduces to percussive rhythm on ukelele and drums with vocals. ‘Ooohs’ re-enter after the chorus with some bright ukelele chords. The verse again accompanied by percussion only. At the final chorus, all instruments enter for a rousing, joyous ending. Fun, warm, happy and hopeful. A heartwarming, modern update of a classic Christmas song, this would be great in a modern Christmas film or tv special. Subtly seasonal.

Christmas Eve & Funky Christmas

Oh god the xmassy feels! It’s that time of year again, but it’s flaming APRIL I hear you say, well here in Lapland its Christmas ALL the time. I’m a happy little elf! So… full.. of happiness… (head explodes).

Two ad shorts for Christmas product placement, one classical and fairytale, the other more contemporary. Both will make you spew glitter and rainbows.

Frozen Peaks

Soothing vocal track with tinkling glockenspiel accompaniment. A comforting wash of harp, glockenspiel, and a breathy chorus of warm vocals. Peaceful, serene, short and simple, perfect as a gentle TV ident, for reality TV montages or for a heartwarming holiday advert.

Upbeat synth track. 90s-style electronica with synth chord progression and angelic vocals, like if Steps had written ‘Born this Way’. Happy, sparkly and soaring, this would suit an advert for a magical shopping experience.
