Childlike, uplifting and positive, introduced with chimes and light guitar, joined by warm strings and piano in a descending sequence that evokes feelings of hope, light and harmony.
Solo jazz piano. Thoughtful, slow-paced jazz piano chords, old-fashioned jazz meandering, feeling semi-improvised with passages resolving on sweet chords or questioning chord clusters. Melancholy, pensive and full of longing, would suit a classic film scene, a lĂ Casablanca, lonely hearts gaze into their whisky sodas…nobody understands like the piano player.

Dreamlike, nostalgic and strange, would suit a reflective documentary moment or a sentimental but not sickly-sweet Film/TV sequence.

At 0:30 mins in there is a more pensive section, a feeling of hesitation, “will everything be ok?” but then we are warmly reassured from 1:05 mins in, with instrumentation that builds to a strong and triumphant end. Perfect music for, I don’t know, a feel good video about adopting a puppy? I see puppies. Damn those Andrex adverts.
Solo piano. Jazz chords straight out of a classic movie scene set in a smoky cavernous jazz club. Slow chordal movement at first, sweet and lyrical, moves to a confused romantic motif with some dissonance, chords grow in volume and intensity, a declaration of love. Back to the introductory chords, more relaxed now with hints of unsettling dissonance. Romantic, confused and reckless, a love letter to early jazz, on Film/TV, would suit a La La Land style, modern interpretation of heady jazz-age love.
Minimal piano track. Polyrhythmic piano lines interweave creating a continuous, flowing waterfall effect. Sweet yet dissonant, atmospheric and turbulent. A dreamlike cacophony in the mid-section, before an expressive, virtuosic, yet disturbed, finish. Suited to an unsettling Film/TV scene, a psychological horror reflecting the characters tumultuous experiences.
Emotional piano track. Cascading piano sequence, layers added. Grows sweeter, more nostalgic and thoughtful. Perfect for a dramatic inner realisation onscreen, a driven advert, or a romantic TV/Film scene.
Intense, emotional female vocal with tense orchestral strings, acoustic guitar and beats. Dreamy vocals, gentle plucked acoustic guitar and reverb-laden beats create a woozy atmosphere with a 90s feel. Orchestral strings and bass guitar underpin the breathy melody. Romantic, nostalgic and intoxicating, would suit a 90s throwback teen drama.
