Mysterious solo piano track. Busy, melancholy piano melody over sparse, broken chords, moving between major and minor, from darkness and confusion to moments of light. Simple, curious and reflective, like an conversation with yourself, would suit a thoughtful, wintry TV/Film moment or puzzling documentary scene.
Solo jazz piano. Slow-paced, measured jazz piano chords, starts gently, growing in intensity throughout with clashing and resolving chords ebbing and flowing, like inner turmoil. Romantic, thoughtful, wretched in equal measure, perfect for a quiet, pensive film moment, our troubled character unable to decide a course of action in love.
Solo jazz piano track. Dramatic sparse piano chords, with quieter, sweeter interludes. A dissonant chord break with moments of consonance and hope, before a melodic slightly lounge-jazz section. Another chord break, returns to sparse, lovelorn chord clashes. Another moment of sweet reverie before the final despairing dramatic chords. Romantic, melancholy, thoughtful, would suit a reflective arthouse Film/TV scene, a lonely walk, conflicted, thinking of the other, or sitting at the bar, alone and dishevelled.
Tender and melancholic, featuring an arpeggiated piano wrapped by a strings arrangement that make use of modern day film scoring techniques to deliver a short theme, and develop it in just 1 minute and 20 seconds. Starts with piano, and after second 40 the strings take over. It will suit short form advertising and film trailers where the music is needed to help sustaining the emotional arch of your story.
Dissonant and cloudy, a crying lament of strings that successfully combines early classical 1900s influences with modern day film scoring. It has four definite sections that alternate relaxation with excitement. It will suit period dramas with complex characterisations but also possibly otherworldly and supernatural settings. Atonement. Downton Abbey if it had more balls.
Playful with a dreamy edge, a delicate ensemble of synths that evoke a sense of futuristic exertion and in some sense an inevitable acceptance of the randomness of events. Like a child of Rutger Hauer’s Nexus 6 playing with its toys in a semi dark sitting room.
Dreamy and hypnotic, a sapient episode of twisted synths, sustained and haunting bass drones, and heavily effected celesta that bring an unsettling and scary mood to the listener. It has a weird playful edge that evokes a sense of youth, though we are definitely not playing with positive characters here. Several applications, among those will suit teen thrillers, supernatural horrors with a delicate aftertaste.
Hypnotic and emotional, a stuttering combination of piano and electronics that create an intense and haunting mood to the listener. Repetitive and and strangely delicate, it is like a robotic point of view of poignancy. In the second part a solid arpeggiated bass line gives strength to the piece until everything crumbles shortly after. A compelling mix of classical and modern music.
Dazed and hypnotic, a fistful of electricity and fast paced action in this 1 minute episode of electronic madness. A boomy bass synth and low-fi drum machines make for a compelling tune that evokes vintage electronica without denying modern day EDM. We are spectators of futuristic cities, doomed detectives, wrecked cars and dodgy gangsters.
Dreamy with a groovy edge, a potpourri of computer blips, outer space laments, and Brain Eno-alike synth drones all complemented by a mellow dance rhythm. Built as ABA structure, it’s got a quirky and slightly unsettling mood, something like a slow cooked psychedelic trip on the dance floor.
