Electronic slow jam with tense string sample, female vocal sample, repeated synth wah motif and underlying crunchy beats. Joined by hip hop beats in a tense, slow, build that swells slightly but keeps its cool. Dark, moody and sexy, this feels like the journey toward a decisive event, or a seductive affair. There is a sense of a hope toward the conclusion but we are left without any answers. This enigmatic, atmospheric track suggests a cool cityscape and the expanse of humanity within it.

Solo jazz piano. Erratic, playful opening chords, a dramatic section exploring the range of the piano and deep, stomping chords before an East African-style jazz solo. Moves to Gymnopédie-like lyrical beauty before a dynamic minimalist section. Alternates fluidly between these varying styles, creating a multi-hued collage of moods. Surprising, playful, dramatic and sophisticated, would suit an old-style silent film or a confusing onscreen tug ‘o’ war of emotions.

A moody electronic dance track. 4/4 beats and warm synth chords builds in volume and intensity. Laser beam synths then a bassy break, back to the rhythm, a moody variation on the original. Double time beats build up adding a sense of urgency. Warm and rich with hints of darkness, this intense, hypnotic track looks toward the future, suiting adverts for cutting edge products or intense, emotional TV/film action sequences suggesting irreversible change.

Sultry late night jazz. Skulking double bass, romantic celeste melody, lazy, loping jazz drums. Smooth saxophone solos over the laid back foundation. Moody, seductive, late night jazz, would suit a slow-paced advert or retro, nostalgic TV/Film scene where our characters’ eyes meet across a half-empty bar…a lovesick detective and a sassy divorcee…both tired and jaded…but have they given up on love?

Melancholy solo piano. Haunting piano intro in an unsettling rhythm. Piano chords added, clashing and resolving. The sun comes out with the main motif repeated on a rolling wave of bass piano notes. More intricate melodies introduced , tumbling piano motif. Jazz piano soloing, more forceful, intense, emotional chords before a return to the haunting early motif played with added conviction. Searching, thoughtful and desolate, sounds like a message in a bottle bobbing over the seven seas, would suit a Film/TV/Doc journey, perfect music for a cross-country train journey as the landscape flashes by.

Jazz piano solo. Relaxed jazz chords, sparse and measured. A tense repeated phrase leads to a pensive, sombre melody with hints of hope from high piano notes. A meandering improv-like melody deviates from the original chords progression before a quiet, content ending. Thoughtful, intense and reflective, a moody piano number perfect for a the heightened tension of a romantic love scene. Two star-crossed lovers on separate paths through rain soaked streets. One in Paris, the city of lights, the other in Woody Allen’s New York…will their paths ever meet again?

Careless (Suite)

Electronic track. Beat intro with mellow synth. Added beats, rhythmic bassy synth, harsh, glassy synth effects and straight up drums. Upbeat but slightly melancholy with a hint of tension. Suitable for moody TV drama sequences or for a cool, clean, modern advert.

Careless 2 is longer, more like a electronic dance track, with added finger snaps and effects and punchier beats.

Mercury Rhythm (Intro & Outro)

Piano track with echoing delay effects and electronic beats. Pulsating, muted beats follow from the piano intro, growing more distorted throughout the track. Haunting, strange and futuristic, would suit a TV crime documentary, a tense film or moody car advert.

Outro features scary electronic whooshing effect at beginning, more frenetic piano at first and more beat-driven echoing section which lasts throughout.

Eastern 2

Dramatic instrumental track. Glitchy electronics begin, joined by swooping orchestral strings and, soon after, the instrumentation and percussion reminiscent of a Bollywood soundtrack. Final section moves to a more Spanish guitar sound with the sounds of acoustic guitar and what could be intricate foot taps or castanets. A fusion track that would suit the movement from an intense to a more low key mood on screen.
