American Glory

Sparse all-American Western track. Echoing electric guitar and rattlesnake percussion. A desolate desert soundscape, tumbleweed and a blazing sun. Mysterious, pensive and reflective, perfect Ennio Morricone-style soundtrack music for sombre western TV spoofs and adverts or documentaries reporting on another type of cowboy.

Mitochondria

Epic electronic build with orchestral strings. Crackly intro, muted electronic build, powerful beats and glassy synths. Sustained, dramatic orchestral strings build to a pummelling electronic beat with glittering arpeggiated synth and a serious, choppy string section. A break before a fresh build. Solemn and driven yet hopeful, all out epic 90s vibes like Fatboy Slim’s ‘Right Here, Right Now’, would suit tense sports coverage, a dramatic advert, or sincere documentary TV.

Busy Game (Suite)

Hi-tension electronic chase track. Fleeting beats and synth lines, consistent drum ‘n’ bass beats, choppy strings lending intermittent bursts of tension and a chunky synth motif. Change to tense sustained synth, harsher beats, heavier strings before a full blown string section over electronic beats. A key change takes the tension up a notch, beat break before a quieter ending a glassy synth drones, cold strings and piano chords. High energy, full-throttle thriller turns reflective dronescape, as if our protagonist burst through a portal into another dimension. Perfect for a advert or tv sequence where danger is around every turn.

Busy Game 2 is steady, orchestral string-led suspense. A consistent level of threat and tension throughout.

Tactical Espionage

Dramatic orchestral action thriller. Fleeting electronic shards, choppy orchestral strings, booming, threatening brass, frenetic, thunderous beats build tension throughout, finishing on the peal of long foghorn blasts. Dark, sombre and dangerous, a high octane battle for survival, perfect for a dramatic chase scene or tense onscreen build up.

Always Angry

Pulsating electronic thriller. Electronic horn-like sustained blasts, clanging sound FX, harsh drum machine. Ascending orchestral strings signal intriguing danger. A thoughtful, desolate electric guitar solo before a return to the relentless electronic sirens. Strings build again and electric guitar returns to finish. Automatic, inhuman, threatening and brash, the sound of a prison watchtower and the rhythmic plodding of prisoners boots, would suit a dramatic thriller on TV or Film.

The Issue Goes Deeper (Suite)

Lurching synth doppler effect creates an atmosphere of uneasy tension. One note rings out, klaxon-like, joined by threatening synth sounds panning across a bleak sonic plain. Hi-hat underpins the score with added suspense. Dark, desolate and unnerving, with a heavy, mysterious atmosphere that suggests an enemy at your shoulder. Perfect for a prison break, an abduction or an escape.

Light version has a longer, more exposed synth note. Simple version only features the doppler effect synth sounds, no central sustained note.

Taiko Melody

Percussive build. Growing layers of drums and rattling percussion, creating a wide-reaching rhythmic picture. Woodblocks cut through the blanket of drums momentarily before the uniform pounding resumes. Atmospheric, determined and full of anticipation, perfect music for a ceremonial event, a soundtrack to an epic, other-wordly ritual or tribal gathering onscreen.

Threshold_Entrancending_Incantascence

Sparse plucked Cello, calm and slightly wry, anticipating something, a note of unease. Then out of nowhere urgent and plaintive bowed cello and violin. Rhythmic at first then suspending itself with long drawn out notes. At 4:14 there is a unified statement, uneasy and dissonant. It feels like someone is valiantly struggling to pull themselves up but can’t do it. They try harder and more desperately but the forlornness of the situation overtakes them, they pause, then after a last effort they fall to their doom. If you were ever narrating an Edgar Allen Poe story, this would be the soundtrack to it.

Kill the robots

Repetitive and flowing, it starts tense with a rhythmical bass synth. Soon a detuned piano enters the scene to counter balance the darkness with some emotional lighter ideas. The bass follows it as a drum section slowly creeps in and helps in gaining strength to the tune. There is sense of longing and broken romance, but defiance and challenge are definitely ahead. Somewhat in between hi-tech and retro.

Damage

Dreamy and emotional but polluted in its arrangement, with digitally distorted synthesisers that swoop around the sonic sky and create an interesting black and white post apocalyptic romance theme. Futuristic and hypnotic, there is also a nice and straight kick drum bouncing on the lower spectrum of frequencies that help in establishing a catchy danceable rhythm.
