Intricate guitar instrumental. Plucked acoustic guitar lines interwoven. Electric guitar with some reverb and delay effects picks out a melody on top. Electric guitar grows more prominent, sounding like an instrumental Warpaint, while the acoustic lines grow stronger and more intricate. The interplay of guitar lines creates a chiming effect. Atmospheric, melancholy and enveloping, a melancholy, hypnotic sound world, perfect for tense TV/Film/Doc moments in unfamiliar environments.

Downbeat electronica. 90s influenced piano intro, bassy synth and sustained synths join, along with eerie theremin-like warbling synths. A trip hop style drums build before a quieter break. Atmospheric electronics sustain the soundscape to a quiet close. Reminiscent of Massive Attack, anticipatory, ambient and immersive, an enveloping sound world, mysterious and alluring, to suit a chilled advert, tense documentary or Scandi noir-style contemplative TV/Film sequence.

Fast-paced alt rock instrumental. A tight heavy metal style electric guitar riff over quick, insistent drums. Short, sharp stabs of sound with elaborate, manic drum fills bridging the gaps. Aggressive, mischievous and incendiary, sounding like Foo Fighters or Queens of the Stone Age, provocative music that spells danger and rebellion. Perfect for badass rule-breakers on TV/Film, or for a ball-busting advert where the status quo is crushed to smithereens.

Piano Duet

Plinky-plonky electronic track. Muted, gentle kalimba-like keyboard notes with a tinkling percussive glockenspiel-like motif above. A growing wash of calming synth emerges from beneath. Meditative, warm, mellow and reflective, like bathing in calming sound, with African-style melodic percussion but Icelandic, glassy like Amiina, perfect for a gentle, family advert or introspective TV/Film/Doc scene.

European-style jazz instrumental. Spanish guitar soloing furiously over a bed of walking double bass, percussion and guitar chords. Accordion takes over with a playful solo. Guitar returns, accordion provides chordal accompaniment. Fun, warm, uplifting and positive, laid back jazzy high jinks for adverts or TV/Docs/Film evoking the retro swinging technicolour of Umbrellas of Cherbourg.

Contrasting electronic drone tracks. Electronic feedback, harsh waves of low frequency sound, an electronic wave-like pulse the only rhythm. Dark, uncomfortable and atmospheric, would suit a tense, disconcerting TV/Film sequence.

Drone 2 is more dreamlike, waves of ambient sound, cleansing, meditative, healing.

Vintage rock ‘n’ roll track. Drum intro, laid back sparse funk guitar, 60s-style keys. Female vocal chorus enters, singing subtle, dreamy ‘aaahs’. Strings enter over funky guitar, walking bass guitar and retro keyboards. A 1960s-esque psychedelic keyboard and string section before a rock ‘n’ roll guitar solo. Cool, laid back, upbeat and retro. Brings to mind ’60s London, as well as ’90s Britpop, groovy young folks swanning around swinging London. Perfect for an easy-going, fun advert or background music for a retro TV/Film sequence.

Gentle piano track with subtle orchestral strings. Repetitive piano motif builds, orchestral strings join, growing in intensity before a return to the lyrical solo piano. Warm, string swell rejoins, returns to solo piano. Lush, powerful and beautiful, would suit a pensive Film/TV/Doc scene encapsulating a sense of longing and nostalgia.
