Easy Morning

Uplifting acoustic guitar track. Delicate, chiming finger-picking acoustic guitar intro, joined by warm chords and intricate guitar parts. Mellow chordal section before broken guitar chords ring out again. Gentle, hopeful and bright, like a musical sunrise, perfect for positive, hopeful TV/Doc/Film scenes or adverts evoking a warm, nostalgic Americana.

Bed track is a lighter version with electric guitar chords low in the mix.

For There is Much to Dare

Atmospheric piano instrumental with subtle strings and electronics. Sustained, dramatic piano notes, another layer of delicate piano bubbles underneath. A melody with delay and electronic effects emerges from the murky ambience created by string-like scratchy drones and muted layers of repetitive piano. Strings grow more harsh, piano builds, ending on a gentle hocketing motif on high-register piano, like gentle chiming bells. Sombre, emotional and quietly, epic, a cinematic soundscape with Philip Glass-like rhythmic piano, perfect to accompany images of nature or a tragic human drama.

These Waters Remember Part 4

Tense acoustic guitar track. Acoustic guitar riff, repeated, building anticipation. Electric guitar line joins, building the texture. Electric guitar effects added, delay creates a chiming effect. Guitar layers added, creating a cacophonous, reverberating atmosphere. Wordless female vocals join, like a flamenco song or Portugese fado. Earthy, meditative and tense. Would suit a dramatic TV/Film moment, a female wailing, like Mother Nature herself crying out.

These Waters Remember Part 2

Intricate guitar instrumental. Plucked acoustic guitar lines interwoven. Electric guitar with some reverb and delay effects picks out a melody on top. Electric guitar grows more prominent, sounding like an instrumental Warpaint, while the acoustic lines grow stronger and more intricate. The interplay of guitar lines creates a chiming effect. Atmospheric, melancholy and enveloping, a melancholy, hypnotic sound world, perfect for tense TV/Film/Doc moments in unfamiliar environments.

Listen to the Dialogue While I Do My Thing

Atmospheric synth instrumental. Layers of echoing synth. Fat, warm, 80s reverb-laden sound. Sombre orchestral string effect, chiming piano and glacial beats gives a serious, driving feeling. Intriguing, mysterious and strange, Twin Peaks-style ambience crossed with Enya and the Crimewatch theme tune, would suit a dark TV drama or as tension-building background music to an eye-opening documentary.

The Time and Place (Clarinet)

Atmospheric, droney clarinet track. Multiple sustained clarinet notes overlap, free rhythm, seemingly random chiming layers of rich, earthy reed notes. Contemplative, meditative and soothing, ambient and contemporary, with a spiritual feel, track to suit an experimental visual for quiet, reflective documentaries or films.

These Waters Remember Part 3

Chiming guitar track with female vocals. Interweaving electric and acoustic guitars, reverb and delay effects, like an indie guitar track. Breathy female vocals introduced. Guitars duel and layer up, dark and brooding, an instrumental Interpol with slightly jazzy female vocals. African jazz and Spanish guitar influences. Mysterious and atmospheric, would suit a spellbinding TV/Film/Doc scene, spans cultures and eras, a cyclical guitar meditation.

Byron

African jazz-style instrumental. Dynamic drum intro, bold brass enters in unison, African-style jazz guitar, Étiopiques-style keys and lively marimba before a siren-like chiming, dissonant brass build, over increasingly frenetic marimba. Returns to jazz groove with a sax solo on top and a repeated melodic motif underneath on keys. Full band to the end. Joyful and excited, reckless and strange at times, would suit an upbeat summer advert, or as evocative mood music for a travel documentary.
