Cretan-Irish fiddle track. Joined by warm piano and hints of playfully subtle saxophone, minor chords growing in intensity and turning to major for a hopeful finish. Mysterious, cheeky and subversive, brings to mind a magical woodland scene of trees going walkies while your back is turned. Bed version is more intimate, featuring more raw, sparse acoustic guitar, brings out the scratchy, barely-there violin and teasing background noise.

Ruins of an Era

Tense synth and piano track. Sparse, anticipatory piano intro with soft synth string chords. Single piano notes ring out building to a sombre choral section on synth, like a grandiose church choir. Echoed on strings, lush and moving before a sudden choppy string section brings the track to a close. Dark, foreboding and full of suspense, an apocalyptic soundscape for when technology has consumed humanity.
