Suspenseful orchestral track. Foreboding sustained cello note intro before choppy violins join with a sense of urgency over soaring orchestral violins. Brazen brass blasts a slow salute before a tense and troubled violin shaky violin break. A dark fast-moving sea of choppy violins and clashing notes. The clouds part with a more triumphant section as the initial violin motif returns, seemingly victorious. Sombre, threatening and frightening,perfect action film music, for when the going gets tough and it looks like our heroes will suffer a crushing defeat. Instead, they hold on to power…for now.

Macho guitar and synth track. Chiming, fast-paced piano chords with muted percussion underpin the intro with a brash electric guitar melody joining above. Bass guitar introduces a fuller section with solid drums and more guitar. Harpsichord-like synth break imitates the piano chords, all instruments rejoin. Determined, driven and serious, the perfect no-nonsense track for an investigative documentary or neutral commercial.

A Happy Death

Solemn atmospheric piano-led track with orchestral strings. Starts with a string drone that builds in force and dissonance. Single piano and glockenspiel notes tinkle on the edges. This fades out and is replaced by regular melancholy piano chords with ambient percussive rattles and mouse-like squeaks adding a layer of intrigue. Intense and melancholy yet playful, an unusual combination of sounds to suit an off-kilter film or quirky yet sombre advert.

State of Mind

Tense, atmospheric electronica. Synth riff with added vocal samples and whooshing, fat synths underneath. Sparse, slightly tropical, subtle beats materialise, synths and vocals bubble up and cut through the murky atmosphere. Downbeat, moody, dark and slightly magical, reminiscent of a more 90s Arca, intriguing beats draw us in to another world, swampy and hazy, perfect for a mellow TV/Doc/Film scene or as sombre yet hopeful background music.
