Warm and sincere, an ambient episode with traces of tender melancholic elements. Emotional acoustic arpeggios and evocative solos of trumpet and acoustic guitar create a wonderful sense of longing in space and time. As the title suggests, there is indeed a south American edge here, but definitely more in a calm-sunset-on-a-beach sausade way than carnival party time.

Adventure Reality
Weird and bouncy, with syncopated djambees and a tentative double bass that dialogue together in a sort of silly and somewhat sinister 30 seconds of music. It has an interesting edge of dark playfulness that will suit off-advertising but also mickey-mousing of animated characters. Drunk and Disney.
The Ballydesmond
Playful and bright, with a cheerful harmonica, fiddle, acoustic guitars and percussion that make for a lively folk setting with a festive mood. Remainders of Irish and Scottish countryside, will suit village celebration scenes, travel montage.
Meeting is Over
Pompous and hypnotic, with an entrancing dialogue between vocals and harmonica that create an meditative and longing feeling. A compelling folk with a dark flavour, will complement your character as he makes it to the top of the mountain and looks at the world from a higher perspective.
Before My Time is Done
Hypnotic and earthy, with soft percussive elements, acoustic guitars and a mellow leading fiddle that take us into world/folk territories without being too flashy. Sounds like venturing into the wild unknown but you have all your marbles with you and you know what your are doing. See, if only Leonardo had this music in The Revenant, he wouldn’t have been molested by a bear.
Small World
Engaging and uplifting, this track combines elements of Latin world music with Spanish Flamenco. It features a slick dialogue between two acoustic guitars, drums with percussions and two chorus-like episodes at 0:55 an d 1:22. Paco De Lucia and Pat Metheny shake hands. Ideal for a documentary title sequence, film promos, travel scenes, and ad campaigns.
Longmu
Chilled instrumental jazz track. Shuffling drums, downbeat piano chords, thoughtful piano melody with a jazz tonality. Brass enters, repeated a piano phrase. Melody repeated on piano, joined by Rhodes piano, double bass, punctuated by brass notes. Dreamy section, woozy brass, lightly strummed electric guitar, delicate piano motifs, chilled drums with Ethiopian jazz influences and bright chords. All join on relaxed version of original melody. Relaxed, warm and a little bit mysterious, perfect background music for a curious documentary or for a laid back yet reflective Film/TV scene.
Pagume
African jazz instrumental. Snaking double bass intro, joined by jazz drums, vibraphone, electric guitar and keyboard playing a rhythmic motif. Change of rhythm, horn blasts then saxophone melody, subtle African-jazz style, effects-heavy electric guitar solo, brass noise before vibraphone motif returns and all play until the finish. Intriguing, exotic and sensual, with hints of Mulatu Astatke and a little Fela Kuti influence, would suit a travel documentary or Film/TV scene evoking the spirit of a hot night in urban 1970s Africa.
That’s for Eating With
Quirky instrumental. Dramatic opening, sustained keys and brass, sounds like the electronic rainbow blasts of Animal Collective. Gives way to a meandering jazz saxophone joined by a brass blast then an unexpected quirky percussive section with piano and a big build, all instruments in, like the finale of a stadium rock concert. Sparse breathy saxophone section before another epic blast of noise. Solo sax then all instruments in, strings, drums, percussion, vocals and brass with drum crashes and wallops before a peaceful end. Bombastic and epic with slow, thoughtful sections, a fun mix of styles and moods, would suit a silly Film/TV scene humorous advert for a bonkers product.
