Front Street

Vintage rock ‘n’ roll track. Drum intro, laid back sparse funk guitar, 60s-style keys. Female vocal chorus enters, singing subtle, dreamy ‘aaahs’. Strings enter over funky guitar, walking bass guitar and retro keyboards. A 1960s-esque psychedelic keyboard and string section before a rock ‘n’ roll guitar solo. Cool, laid back, upbeat and retro. Brings to mind ’60s London, as well as ’90s Britpop, groovy young folks swanning around swinging London. Perfect for an easy-going, fun advert or background music for a retro TV/Film sequence.

Circles

Lyrical solo piano track. Ripples of gentle piano, repetitive descending motifs like rainfall. Grows in intensity, joined by deep, emotive strings. Returns to slowed-down solo piano. Lush, heady and nostalgic, suitable for pensive onscreen longing. Still yearning for lost love but soon the world opens up afresh in the cycle of life.

When I Run

Jazz-pop instrumental. Drum roll, Rhodes piano intro, then a punchy brass riff. Steady drum and keyboard groove before the riff returns. Trumpet solo. Laid back, upbeat and positive, like a slightly cheesy theme tune to a jolly American sitcom.

And You? Dove Sei?

Hypnotic hangdrum track. A hangdrum melody repeats in cycles, joined by hand drums, suspenseful electronics and tension-building strings. Mysterious, tense and thoughtful, moody music to suit a tense thriller – the disquieting calm before the storm.

Kon Tiki Nocturne

Funk rock ‘n’ roll guitar track with added jazz flute. Grungey 90s-style guitar intro, drums, jangly guitar, steady bass line and funk guitar follow all at once before a complete change to a funky section with jangling guitars and freewheeling jazz flute. Return to original rock riff with an extra layer of funk guitar. Returns to jazzy section before a jazz/funk break and bright, melodic guitar solo. Upbeat, positive and sunny, would suit an advert featuring fun people getting together, kicking back and having good times.

Ground Zero

Epic other-worldly orchestral track. Sustained melancholy orchestral strings, a special FX blast then a searching ancient violin melody rings out, accompanied by intermittent drums beats and a chorus sample. Frantic, dramatic violin section, choppy and fierce with rumbling drums beneath. A key change heightens the anticipation before a dramatic stop and resurgence at the finish. Urgent, powerful and bombastic, a Prince of Persia-style romp over sacred lands in search of danger, passion and hidden treasures.

Vice

Imagine Beverly Hill’s Cop mixed with a bit of “It was acceptable in the 80s” and this is what you get. Unashamedly bold drums joined by rhythmic synth stabs and bass, then for me it really comes into it’s own around one minute in, when you realise that with the introduction of electric guitar that we are actually pretty funky up in here. Elements of fast cut establishing sequences, 80s montage scenes, dance scenes, retro stuff, and some sort of comedy scene where everyone is running around a big house without everyone knowing.

Dream Beach

Atmospheric dreamy electronica. Waves of glistening, shimmering sustained synths. Ambient, bright, hopeful and immersive. A new-age journey through the expansive universe, perfect for nature documentaries and peaceful futuristic fantasies.

Dominoes

Funky guitar instrumental. Wocka wocka guitar, funky slap bass and 90s keys, with retro samples and electronic effects. Woozy, laid back and upbeat, the 70s as imagined in the 90s, a stoner on a spacehopper. Fun slacker music for easy going adverts or 90s throwback TV.

BJ

Pulsating electronic track. Fat bassy synth, flashes of synth and electronic glitches start, joined by a regular, throbbing beat, more beats then layers of extra fat synth build the atmospheric tension. Tense, dark and foreboding, full of dark energy, imagine a tense action scene or a nail-biting TV moment.
